Meet Lita

Lita is a Special Needs pet with Eye and ear drops required indefinitely

Meet Lita, a 6-7 year old female French Bulldog who has led a neglected life until now. When Lita first came in to the rescue she was a mess! Covered in fleas, body sores, hairless and toe nails that curled into the pads of her feet. Her ears were infected and she has Dry Eye in one of her eyes. In spite of all of this Lita, has so much love to give and is hoping to find a home for Christmas! She has been crated her entire life and it has become her safe place. Lita is not a fan of the cold weather and is quite dramatic when she is cold, shivering with the pitiful look mastered. When she is taken outside she will go potty outside, in the house she uses puppy pads when foster mom is at work. She will need help and consistency with potty training. She loves kids and is fine with cats and dogs as long as they leave her alone. Over-enthusiastic companions are not a good match for her. She is quiet, mellow and only barks when the resident dogs barks. Although it is more like a howl. Lita can be timid at first but warms up quickly and just wants to be loved and included. Due to the years of neglect, Lita will need follow vet visits for her skin and will need eye drops for one of her eyes for the rest of her life. She is a solid 22 pounds and will be ready for her new life after December 15th.
