Wally is a sweet, happy, guy who knows several commands such as sit, lay down and shake (paw). He was originally purchased from a pet store in New York, where his breeder called his breed a 'mini-walrus'. He weighs about 40 pounds.
Wally has a high energy level and will need daily walks and play time to help burn off his energy. A home with a fenced in yard will be best.
Wally gets along well with friendly dogs that are his size or larger. He tends to be dominant with smaller dogs.
Wally has a little separation anxiety when he is first left alone. He will bark, howl, and chew, which is typical of a beagle. Continued crating will be necessary until he is trained and past his puppy chewing ways. Please fill out an application if are interested in meeting Wally.
Ron D was his foster parent.
