Apply For Sophie

Phoebe is a shy girl looking for a home that will be patient while she learns to be completely trusting of humans. Phoebe came in with her ferrel mama and siblings. Her instinct is to run and hide but she is becoming more and more social as she sees her foster siblings getting all the love. When you pick her up she purrs louder than any other kitten. She is on the small side and we think will continue to stay that way.

Phoebe comes out of her shell more when she is snuggling and playing with her kitten foster siblings. She also lives with 3 dogs and is content when they are calm, but runs and watches from a high place when they are too energetic.

Phoebe will be working on her social skills with her foster mom while she awaits her perfect forever home!

Hailey K is her foster parent. The adoption fee for Sophie is $120. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted, please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Sophie. A volunteer will contact you within approximately 24-48 hours.

All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, a booster vaccine may be necessary after adoption which will be the responsibility of the adopter. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. Most cats and kittens are microchipped when they are spayed or neutered.
