Meet Moose

Are you looking for a friend? Well so am I! Someone to walk and watch the sunset with? Me too! How about a cuddle on the couch from time to time and someone who will listen and not judge you? So am I! We have so much in common I’m sure we could even be BFFs!

I’m not only a little cutie with my beautiful copper coat and big brown eyes, but I also have substance and intelligence! I am super food motivated and would love to continue learning more new things. I know how to "sit", "shake", and "come". I listen to commands pretty well in the house but when we go outside or go somewhere new I get excited with the world that it's hard for me to hear you unless you have yummy treats. I walk well on a leash until I see a squirrel. Who can resist chasing a squirrel?! I do well with some dogs with proper introduction. I used to live with another bulldog and a cat as well as a kid. Cats and kids are my jam! Big dogs can make me nervous, and I might bark when I see one, but my foster mom is positive that with proper introduction, I'll be fine with having a big doggie friend.

My foster mom loves to go jogging. Now that she takes me with her on a trail to run, she says she might be breaking an 8-minute mile! I'm a great fast-pace running partner, but I'm cool with just walking and smelling the roses too. I’ve gotten a good start before I came to KAR. I have mastered crate training, potty training, and house training.

So you have to wonder why I ended up at my foster mom's house since I’m smart, cute, healthy, house trained and a loyal companion. My owner moved to an apartment and she couldn't take me with her. It's sad but I've got so much love to give that I cannot wait to share with my new human!
