Meet Nova

Nova, a border collie mix, was a loved pet whose owner could no longer care for her, and wanted to make sure she was able to go to a great home. She came to her foster family knowing many commands, such as sit, stay, come, and even "okay", a release command she was taught to take treats gently. She's crate trained and does well on a leash. Nova loves all of the people she's met with her foster family. She currently lives with another dog and three kids. It is unknown how she would do with cats. She has shown interest in them, but does not currently live with them. She is definitely a family dog, and will do best in a home where she will be with her family for the majority of the day. She is a huge snuggler and loves either being right in your lap or leaning into you. Nova is very well-behaved, but has a lot of energy and would do best in an active family. She would love going on walks, hikes, and even runs with her forever family.
