Special NeedsMabel is a Special Needs pet with Medical issues with leg lameness. Could be due to her Lymes Disease.

Mabel will wiggle her way onto your lap and into your heart. She is as sweet as they come. Mabel is a low key dog who loves attention, snuggling and being wherever you are. She simply adores all humans. She is happy to meet everyone! Because of that Mabel is great with other dogs and kids.
She does enjoy the safety of her crate, but does not like to be left alone during the day in her crate and will cry in rebellion. Therefore a home with few hours alone or in a crate would be preferred.
Mabel is mild mannered, but came to KAR with little training. At her ages of already 8 years she will need patient owners who are willing to work with her patiently as she continues to learn to be a proper house dog. She isn't bad mannered, but isn't quite as responsive to sit, stay, down or come quite yet. She is treat motivated so we have been working on it.
Finally sweet Mabel will need continued support with her ongoing health issues. She is experiencing leg lameness in her left back leg- most likely due to an old injury but she also has been diagnosed with Lyme's disease. She has so much love to give! Are you her "furever" family?

Emily Z was her foster parent.
