Meet Jim

The perfect combination of sweet and playful, Jim will make an easy addition to any family! He will stand his ground with other dogs if needed, but doesn't need to be the most dominant. Jim would do best in a home that provides training and structure to set him up for success. Jim currently lives with his foster family, which includes three kids (ages 9-16) and another dog. Because he has such a zest for everything, he can get really happy and excited when playing. He'd probably do best in a home with older kids so that he doesn't accidentally knock them down when playing. Jim really loves his people and is going to want to go to a home where he will be a big part of the family. He loves his toys, treats, and lying on his back in the grass on sunny days! Jim is eager to please and his training, while still in the early stages, has been easy. He is mostly house-trained, crate-trained (at night, and for 2-4 hour periods during the day), knows the "sit" and "down" commands, and is getting the hang of "come". He loves walks, but would rather stop and smell absolutely anything and everything along the way. He's a funny, brave, and curious guy!
