Look at that face and those ears! Mya’s personality will charm you just as much as her looks! She is quite endearing. She loves to lay on you, be near you, and follow you around devotedly. So she can flop in your lap to soak up all the attention. She just loves all people. And is always jumping with joy to meet anyone new (we are working on that).

Mya will also keep you on your toes with her endless energy and demand for attention. She requires an active home with knowledge of the breed that has plenty of time to devote to positively directing her energy, continuing with her training, and snuggling her!

She is an energetic, confident and dominant dog. While she does get along with other dogs her intense personality has caused clashes at times over both food and resources and it is recommended that she be the only dog in a home, but have the opportunity for play dates and visits with dog friends often.

Mya’s best fit fur-ever family would be busy, active family with older children that is committed to training, has breed experience, and space for her to be active (a fenced yard is ideal). She would make a great running buddy or candidate for agility classes/work with is speed and skill. She needs the perfect mix of affection and activity and a strong pack leader to keep her energy in check. We have fallen in love with her and been working hard on her training the past month. Please apply if you believe your family would be a great fit for Mya’s fur-ever home.

Emily Z was her foster parent.
