Say "hello" to Lucy, a smart, high-energy, and social Shepherd/Husky mix that is looking for her perfect forever home.

Lucy's ideal home is one that is active - she walks and runs well on a leash and enjoys playing in her foster home's fenced-in backyard. She requires a strong leader and will be very devoted to the right person. Lucy is housebroken and knows her basic commands. She does not do well in a crate but doesn't destroy anything when left out while her foster mom is at work all day.

Lucy is good with other dogs and okay with cats. She does not want to hurt cats but is a bit too interested in playfully chasing them to live with them. Because Lucy isn't aware of her size and can be mouthy when playing, we recommend the youngest kids in her potential home be older than 10 years old.
