Meet Bolt

Hi there! I'm Bolt and I'm looking for my forever family! I'm very sweet and I think I'm the goodest boy. But like my name suggests, I love to run and I have so much energy! My foster mom says I still need to work on my manners because when I get excited, I like to jump up on people. Right now I am living in a home with 5 cats that I want to play with all the time, but I need to learn to be a bit more gentle with them. Mostly I just want to play and be around my people all the time. I haven't met a dog yet that I don't like and want to play with, and I just love kids (but I do jump, so very small kids may not be the best idea with me). Bolt's ideal home will be an active household as he has lots of energy to burn. He would make a great running partner once he gets a bit better on the leash. He should have a fenced in yard as he does love to run. Bolt will need a strong, experienced leader who will be willing to put in the time to properly train him. He does know some commands (sit, stay, and most of the time leave it) but he will need someone to work with him on learning more commands and helping him with his puppy manners. He is potty trained and does well with other dogs and is very curious and playful with cats, but a cat that is experienced with dogs would be best as he doesn't know his place yet.
