Meet Piper!

This is the dog you've been waiting for!  If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion then this girl is for you.  When around people Piper is a mellow laid back lover who likes nothing more than to lay by your side for snuggle time.  She is a very low energy dog and for a large dog does not require tons of exercise.  Piper is excellent at sleeping through the night, taking a bath and riding in the car.  She is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, lay down and leave it.  Piper does enjoy spending time outdoors, playing fetch or going for walks.  One of her favorite things to do is play with her chew toys, especially deer antlers. 

Piper is best suited for a home with older kids because she can be a bit skittish and gets easily frightened by loud noises or chaos.  She's been living in a home with two twelve year old boys who she adores, and her best pal Georgia a four year old Boxer.  For the most part Piper is a very mellow and laid back dog, around her dog pal however she can get pretty rowdy.  Piper and Georgia love to roll around and wrestle; chasing each other through the house.  For this reason we recommend a home without cats, small dogs, elderly dogs, or a dog that would not enjoy this type of play. 

Piper is one of the best dogs we have ever fostered and she is a totally sweet and eager to please.  Please consider Piper to be part of your family, she deserves to find her loving forever home.
