I've Been Adopted!

Meet Maya

Domestic Short Hair-gray

Approx DOB: 1/01/2012
Gender: Female
Microchipped

It is my pleasure to introduce you to Maya.  This dear sweetheart was captured in a live trap and brought to Animal Services.  She was emaciated, had fleas and mites and was sick.  But that didn't stop her from loving us.  We were so impressed when we held her because she began to purr immediately and she leaned into our bodies like she was relieved to be held.  She refused to get off our laps when we tried to assess her adoption potential.  When she came to our home, she was so sick she didn't eat for 4 days!  Finally the medicine started to make her feel better and she started to become more active and developed a hunger.

Maya has come a long way since she came into our home.  This little tike loves to talk, play and cuddle.  She will tell you when she is hungry and when she wants to play.  She will climb into your lap and snuggle down when she wants loving.  She loves to snuggle and will get up and snuggle with all the members of her family just so she can experss her love to everyone.

The perfect home for Maya will be one that is dominated by a calm, low energy environment.  Maya gets along great with cats, dogs and children over the age of 6.  Maya LOVES to lay in laps and to snuggle.  She still does not like to be put down once she has claimed your lap! Her perfect home will have to promise to give this little survivor a home in which she gets all the love she deserves and all the laps that she can sleep on!  Will that home be yours?

KateF was her foster parent.
