Meet Fi Fi, the gorgeous little dilute calico with an awful long story that isn't over yet... could you be her happy ever after? At the beginning of April one of the rescue's volunteers jumped to the aid of nine bottle baby kittens, Fi Fi was one of them. She had been saved from a hoarders home with her siblings and other kittens. They were all in rough shape and on top of that needed to be bottle fed. This little girl proved to be a fighter, against all the odds, serious upper respiratory infections and no mommy to learn from she pulled through. Very quickly she learnt to trust her foster mommy, feed herself and use the litter box. She is a snuggle bug and loves attention! We were so excited to see what a great kitten she was turning out to be but then we received the devastating news that she was in fact Feline Leukemia Positive. Fi fi and her foster brother Bailey are looking for a special home, preferably one together. They need a home with no other cats (unless the other cats are positive too) and they will never be allowed to go outside the home. They have a contagious disease that will mean they have a shorter life expectancy compared to other cats and may develop complications as a result of the disease. Their new owner will need to be aware of all of the facts prior to adoption. They will not require any special medication or veterinary care. These cats will make amazing pets despite of their illness. Please consider them as part of your family. Fi Fi is due to be spayed sometime in early June.

Danielle W was her foster parent.
