Come meet Khaleesi at Portage Animal Hospital's cat adoption center starting Thursday, July 31st. PAH is located at the Southeast corner of Portage Road and Centre St. (8037 Portage Road). Hours are Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday: 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Phone: 269-993-3836

While living out in the wild, Khaleesi developed a severe eye infection that caused her eye to collapse.  The vet had to remove it, clean the cavity and sew it closed.  However, neither you, nor her, can barely tell it's missing.  She runs, chases, bats, and plays like any other kitten.  She is still a little tentative about jumping up, but for the most part she's comfortable jumping down.

She is the best little biscuit maker if the whole Midwest, sometimes while she gently sucks the fabric she's making her biscuits on.  She may always be a "baby" the rest of her life or she could just need a little extra comfort after her major surgery and being spayed.  She also purrs the best in the whole Midwest.   She is very sweet and very people-loving.  This little girl deserves the best home, one that will appreciate all she's been thru in her young little life.

After her eye heals, she’ll require no special treatment, but definitely deserves some “extra special treatment” because she is such an exceptional kitten.  She’ll be recovered enough for adoption the first weekend in August.  Don’t miss an introduction to this remarkable success story of a kitten!

Kathy M was her foster parent.
