Special NeedsShelby-WestiePoo is a Special Needs pet with Separation anxiety, neurological issues

Shelby is a very special little girl indeed.  We're not sure if she was injured as a baby, or was born with her condition, but she has some minor neurological problems that affect her balance.  Also, it is unlikely that she will ever be able to be spayed as she crashed when she was put under the anesthesia, so to attempt it again may endanger her life.Shelby has some separation anxiety and sometimes whines and barks when she is left alone.  She does much better after a routine is established and there are other dogs around.

Shelby is house broken, even rings the bells on door to go out.  She has really made a vast improvement in her foster home since she first arrived. She needs someone that will be home often to let her out to potty.

Shelby needs either a forever home, or a permanent foster home.  She is a very sweet girl, and would do best in a home with another young and playful dog to keep her company.  She does well around the cats in her foster home. And loves to play and run in the back yard with her brother and sister.  She's a big snuggler and loves to sleep all night right next to her human.

Laurie Spencer was her foster parent.
