Hi everyone! I am Buddy and I am quite the snuggler. I came into the rescue back in October from the local animal shelter. At the time I came in I was hardly able to move, I was extremely emaciated at 21 pounds and had pneumonia. If my foster Mom hadn't found me I may not have made it through the weekend. I was taken right to the vet where it was determined that I needed to be admitted so that I could get IV fluids and antibiotics. I went to the Emergency Vet and spent the weekend there. I then went to stay at my foster home so I could continue to get better and gain lots of weight. I now weigh about 32 pounds and was finally able to be neutered and am now able to find my forever home.

I have moderate energy and love to go for walks, jogs, play with toys, play tug-o-war with my foster brother and I also really love to lay in a lap under the covers, it is so cozy. My foster family laughs at me when I act like a person or small child, which I guess is often. I have jumped into their arms and gave them big hugs and kisses too. They say I look like a toddler when I do that.

I can jump really far when I want to and run really fast too. My foster Mom things I would be a star competitor in agility events with some training. I am a Beagle mix so my nose tends to get me in trouble when I am outside so a fenced-in yard is a must. Please no underground fences as I don't think that would stop me.

I play very well with the other dogs in my foster home and get along well with the cats, even though sometimes they are fun to chase.

Please come meet me soon.

Have a great day,

Buddy

Rebecca K was his foster parent.
