Hi I am Hope. I am a very calm, easy-going, happy girl. I came into KAR when my owner got sick and couldn't keep me anymore. My owner had saved me from another rescue almost 7 years ago and has been a great mom to me during those years. It was hard to say goodbye to her when I went with my new foster mom, but I was happy to go because I do like walks and car rides. I have adjusted pretty well at my new foster home and I am settling into their routine. I like the other foster dogs that are here and I like the cat that lives here, too. Sometimes I bark at the cat but I don't chase him and I do stop barking when I am told that I shouldn't do that. I really like to please my people.

I am a bit timid when new people come around, but as long as you aren't real loud, I will warm up to you. I don't really like loud noises and my foster mom says I need some more socialization, so we have been working on that some. I am fully potty trained and I don't chew things. So I am very well mannered on those aspects. I was spoiled in my last home, so I do like to get on the furniture, but luckily my foster mom doesn't mind when I do that.

I am in great health and I am looking for my next forever home. I wish to find someone who is ok with me being in my senior years and will love me until the end. So what do you say, would you like some Hope for the new year and years to come? Fill out an app and let's meet.

Jill B was her foster parent.
