Moses is a magnificent solid white cat with stunning green eyes. He loves people and is very friendly. He'll even greet people he doesn't know and ask to be petted. He's a relaxed, mellow cat who likes to be near his human friend(s) without being needy. He'll sit next to you while you watch TV or read. Or he'll pass the time looking out the window. He even travels well without making a peep in his carrier.

Moses is a large cat, about 15 lbs, but not overweight. He's front paw declawed. And since he's a long haired, fluffy boy it's important that his caretaker brush him to prevent matts in his fur. The great thing is that Moses loves to be brushed. And petting and brushing a cat has proven therapeutic effects on us humans.

He's a sweet cat with a gentle disposition. His nickname in the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue is "the gentle giant". Moses lived in a loving home since he was a tiny kitten, but was sadly turned over to the animal rescue as the result of changes in his human family's ability to continue caring for him. He has always been well cared for. Moses has been around other cats and is fine but he will need a home without dogs.

It was recently discovered that Moses has a heart condition common to the Maine Coon breed called Hypertropic Cardiomyopathy. This means he will need a tiny portion of an inexpensive pill every day. His exercise and activities will need to be limited as well so a home without small children will be best.

Please complete an adoption application if you'd like more information about this fabulous cat.

Gail M was his foster parent.
