Meet Ms Kitty

Domestic Short Hair, Abyssinian Mix

Approx DOB: 2/26/2016
Gender: Female
Microchipped

Meet the lovely Ms. Kitty. This poor girl has a sad story to tell. She was literally left on the front step of a house. Luckily it happened to be the home of a volunteer who fostered cats for KAR. She arrived with every rib showing and hip bones protruding. And when she visited the vet it was found out she was pregnant at just a kitten herself. She did a wonderful job birthing her 4 babies- Tesla, Mercedes, Audi and Ford. She struggled with a bad URI and had to be on antibiotics which caused tummy upset, but she persevered and is done with the sneezing and ickyness now. After many comments how exotic she looked, some research ensued. She seems to have a lot of the characteristics of an Abyssinian. Her coat may not be a direct match, but that signifies she is a mix. Her large ears and long legs deep green eyes were a big hint. Her love of tall places(you will need a tall cat tree for this one, she loves to climb.) She has a soft almost non existent cry, and actually tends to chirp more than cry. She is very intelligent and very active minded. She needs lots of toys to occupy her time and a playful companion would be great. She wears out the other cats and kittens in the home with her playfulness. She craves human attention, and will try to block you from leaving a room. She will sit on your lap for hours when she is done running. She has a graceful long stride and is very fast. Before she gave birth she got along with everyone feline in the house, after she gave birth she became protective of the babies but still loved playing with the other foster kittens her age. Her hair is still short so shedding should not be an issue. She is very protective of people and will jump in to defend you if she thinks you are in danger. If you are playing with another cat and they bat at you, or hiss, Ms kitty will come to your rescue. She never has used a claw on a human, her paws had to be checked to see if she even had any. Even with her bout with diarrhea she was excellent in her litter box. She has beautiful coloring of oranges, caramel and darker shades, matched with her green eyes makes her stunning. Come meet her, you will fall in love. As mentioned she is picky about new friends, that could change in a home away from her babies. She would love to be adopted into a home with another playful cat her age with lots of energy like she has Or a home with one (or more of her babies). Someone to play with and snuggle with. She has been through so much, and wants her happy ever after.

Jenny R was her foster parent.
