I've Been Adopted!

Meet Tesla

Dilute Tortoiseshell Mix

Approx DOB: 9/27/2016
Gender: Female
Microchipped

Meet Tesla, one of the motor-mouth crew. She was born to Ms Kitty who was just a baby herself. Her siblings are Mercedes, Audi and Ford. Mom Ms kitty and sister Mercedes already adopted! We call them the motor-mouths because they never quit purring and talking and chirping. Tesla is the smallest of the litter by a over a pound. She was the last one born, and poor exhausted mommy barely had the energy to clean her off. She is as vocal as the rest of the litter but her cry is very faint and quiet, as is her mom's. She and her siblings have been handled since birth and thus absolutely LOVE people. They go where you are, want a lap and snuggles constantly. Their mommy Ms Kitty was only about 6-8 months when they were born, so she plays with them like she is one of them. She really did a wonderful job taking care of them and continues to be very protective of them. She was very sick throughout her pregnancy with worms, and a nasty URI. She could not breathe so had to be given antibiotics which gave her diarrhea and the kittens diarrhea when born. After treatment they are all better now. Tesla struggled the most to gain weight while battling worms vomiting and diarrhea. Her weight had to be monitored daily and had to receive supplemental feedings from her foster mommy. Due to her small size she still needs to be monitored to make sure she is getting her share of food. She is tiny but has a mighty personality. She has no fear of antagonizing the older MUCH bigger resident cats so they will play with her. She, like her mom has very short hair and constantly likes to snuggle with a person, a blanket or another cat or kitten. Her hair is very soft and her purr is very loud. She would love to be adopted with a sibling or even her mommy who still has a lot of kitten energy. If you are looking for a real lover, consider tiny Tesla and any of her siblings. Just be prepared to carry them around a lot, transport them on your shoulder, let them sleep under your chin, and get lots of licking- they love people.

Jenny R was her foster parent.
