Meet Ava

Ava is about to celebrate her 2nd birthday! Her birthday wish is to find a forever home of her own. This beautiful girl is a happy mid-sized package. She is 40 pounds, is crate trained, housebroken, and knows her basic commands. She does get excited when her people come home and jumps up to greet them with a hearty hello. Ava is learning 'off' and is already getting better about the jumping. Beautiful Ava is an energetic sweetheart who loves kids. Kids are her favorite people and will snuggle with the children in her foster family home before cuddling the adults! She is stronger than she appears and still needs some work to keep from pulling on leashed walks. While she is still very playful, she also loves to just chill and be mellow when her family is calm. Ava can be a goofball and with those ears of hers, you are guaranteed to laugh. She gets along well with other dogs but will give chase to a cat if they run away from her - she thinks that is a fun game! Can you make Ava's birthday wish come true?
