Meet Buddy

Are you an active person? Are you looking for companion that loves to be around you? Are you looking for a little excitement in your life? Then look no further! Meet Buddy! Buddy is an extraordinary pup! He is highly intelligent, easy to train and food motivated. He wants to learn and wants to make people happy. Buddy loves people, gets along great with other dogs (at least the majority of them) and seems not to mind cats. Buddy is learning a lot of new things while in the rescue. He knows how to sit, stay, focus, and be gentle. Buddy is fully potty trained and is crate trained. Although he is a GREAT dog, Buddy is still a pup who has a lot to learn. Currently we are working impulse control and he is learning so much! Due to his high intelligence, Buddy does get bored easily and needs the mental stimulation that goes along with toys, learning new "games" and being exercised. But don't get worried! Something as simple as frozen pumpkin and kibble in a kong or a dog treat dispensing toy (online for $20 or less) are great options to occupy him. You can teach him new tricks like hide and seek or high-five! Exercising can consist of a 30 minute walk every day...and seriously, who doesn't need a walk everyday!! Buddy is a still a pup in a big dog's body but with time and patience, you will have the BEST dog around. Buddy is truly a diamond in the rough.
