Bob is a super sweet laid back kitty looking for a family to spoil him. Bob is very calm and enjoys snuggling and belly rubs. Bob was brought into a local veterinary clinic and tested positive for FIV. His owner was going to euthanize him due to testing positive, so the vet contacted KAR. Bob gets along well with other cats, seems to enjoy love from children and would also likely do well with a calm dog. Bob did test positive for FIV. A cat with FIV given regular vet care will not have their life shortened. FIV is only transmittable between cats who are mating or give each other a deep wound bites. Cats with FIV live a long healthy life in a stress free environment. Bob is living in a room with several cats who are FIV negative. Upon introducing him to the room, several of the senior cats of the room greeted him with hissing and growling. Bob walked over and rubbed against my leg as if questioning what on earth is going on?? He would do great in a home with other cats-even ones who are FIV negative. Bob would probably enjoy a home with children. And possibly even one with dogs.

Shannon B was his foster parent.
