Meet Abby

Meet Abigail aka Abby. Abby is currently undergoing heartworm treatment but that hasn't slowed this young seven year old down! Abigail has her final heartworm treatment at the end of June and then she will be ready to go to her new home good as new!

Abby loves people! She has never met a person she doesn't like. Abby gets along with other dogs as long as she gets a little help understanding the pecking order. There are two kitties in Abby's foster home and she does want to play with them although they do not want to play with her. If the kitties can get up onto a piece of furniture then she will leave them alone...but if they are on the floor she thinks they want to be friends and play!

Some of Abby's favorite past times include doing tricks for treats, going for walks, destroying stuffed animals, sleeping in the sun and chewing on rawhides. Abby is proficient at sitting, shaking and speaking. She is housebroken and has excellent manners.

Abby doesn't like thunderstorms, they make her anxious. As long as she can be by your side, she will be just fine. Abby is truly a sweetheart of a dog and has many, many years to prove it to that one special family that is blessed enough to give her a forever home! Please come meet Abby....I promise that you won't be disappointed...and I don't say that lightly. She is one of a kind.
