Meet Birdie

Tabby - Orange Mix

Approx DOB: 7/19/2016
Gender: Female
Microchipped

Birdie is so named for her small frame and sweet sounds she chirps out when locating her kittens or her people. Birdie is a super special cat since she is an orange tiger (the majority of orange cats are boys) and she is polydactyl.

Birdie is a great mother! She has four beautiful babies that she takes great care of. Although she is a mother, she has a playful side. Her favorite item to play with is a toy mouse.

Birdie loves to be petted and cuddled. She isn't obsessive about it but does love her attention! If you ignore her (like when you are cooking) she will give love bites or will stretch her paws up high on your leg to get your attention.

I suspect Birdie will get along with other cats and dogs. We have them in the house but her motherly instinct won't relax enough for her to get to know them. However, she doesn't have bad reactions to the other animals. She just ensures they don't go near her kittens which gives me hope that once removed from them, she will be fine around other pets.

Birdie's perfect home will be someone that wasn't a cuddly cat and that will indulge her playful side!

KateF was her foster parent.
