Meet Chance This little Schnauzer guy called "Chance" was saved from euthanasia at the very last minute. He was born with a severe cleft palate, which leads to death. Surgery is the only way to fix a severe cleft palate and is very expensive. His former owners could not afford the surgery so they decided to euthanize him. Then they heard that Kalamazoo Animal Rescue would take him and try to give him a second "Chance". He was literally minutes away from being euthanized when one of our volunteers stepped in and rescued him.
We asked our supporters to help, and you responded by contributing generously. THANK YOU. A special thank you to Dave Hagar of the Kalamazoo Gazette for writing two articles on Chance.
