Meet Diego

Diego is a super handsome guy and has a little, cute stubby tail, that we were told he was born with. He absolutely loves back and tummy scratches and to play fetch (keep away) with his toys. He takes his treats gently and if you tell him 'wait' he will wait for an 'OK' before starting to eat his food.

Diego still has a lot of puppy energy and sometimes jumps up on people and can be a little mouthy when he's over-stimulated. He sometimes pulls when on his leash and would rather play tug of war with it. :)

He seems to do well with commands and definitely wants to please. He will be a wonderful companion once he gets in the right home where he can get more attention and exercise. This little guy is so deserving of that kind of happiness, it breaks his foster mom's heart that he has been over-looked for so long. Please consider meeting this sweet dog that desperately wants a dog-savvy owner to make him their own.

Diego gets along well with other friendly dogs that are close to his same size. If a dog is aggressive towards him, he does not fight back. He is very interested in cats, so may be too 'attentive' to live with one.
