I’m a relaxed, laid-back kind of dog who enjoys long naps, watching movies, curling up on laps, and walking very short distances from the couch to the food bowl and back. Let me sit at your feet, walk by your side, and I’ll be your devoted companion forever. Treat me sweet and kind and I’ll blossom.

China is a 3 year old purebred Shih Tzu. She was rescued from an overcrowded puppy mill where she had been neglected. Due to those living conditions and the lack of veterinary care provided to China she has gone blind in her left eye. It appears cloudy, slightly blue in color, and protrudes a little bit. However, It does not cause her any pain nor will it require any ongoing extra care.

She is housebroken, crate-trained, and in the process of learning some basic commands. China gets along very well with all other animals, and will do best in a home with another small dog as a companion. Due to her size and sweet demeanor she will make a great pet for any home.
