Meet Aurora

Look at that face! Aurora, Sleeping Beauty, miss princess is just the most sweet, gentle and friendly little girl. This petite pup weighs in at around 4 pounds and is full grown. Aurora is an inquisitive, loving little licker and only wants to be by you or carried by you! She also loves to run in the yard and ride in the car. It is important to remember that although Chihuahuas do love to be treated like babies, they are dogs and need to know who is in charge. For Aurora to remain a happy friendly dog her new owners will need to continue to work on assertive training or else this little princess is gonna call the shots!

Aurora came into our rescue from her former owner who also relinquished her son, Tristan. These two are definitely bonded and make a perfect pair. We want to rehome them together. They have been through quite a lot these past few weeks but you would never know it as they are happy chihuahuas who want a forever home soon!

Aurora is crate trained, potty trained and very quiet. The perfect home for her would be adult only since she is so fragile, she definitely appears to prefer women, so an understanding male parent would need to be the case! She appears to be great with kids though, other dogs and cats, and she is low energy. She will be quite content on staying home or riding on your lap for outings in the car. She is not that interested in long walks or much exercising!
