Meet Mayflower

Maine Coon, Domestic Long Hair Mix

Approx DOB: 12/01/2012
Gender: Female
Microchipped

Meet Mayflower. She was seen wandering the property of a rescue volunteer who began feeding her. She was very skittish and it took lots of work to gain her trust and get her inside. She had her first indoor meal on Thanksgiving and naming her Mayflower seemed to fit her perfectly. One of the videos is her first day inside and eating and being brushed. She was extremely underweight, extremely matted and was pooping leaves she had been eating. Once her tummy calmed down she has not stopped purring. She loves to be brushed, loves a warm lap. She purrs constantly and never cries. Her purr is very intimidating to the resident cats and they are quite scared if they hear it. When she purrs when she sees them, they must think she is growling. They begin hissing and growling and walk towards her, which causes her to growl and run and be chased. She would be a great only cat to get full snuggle time. She has been pulling matts, has been brushed daily for matts, the vet shaved a huge Matt of dried urine and feces off her bottom, but there still are some remaining. The vet guessed she could be 3-5 years old. If you have the time and love to give this sweet girl please apply today. She has never been around dogs that we know of. As you can see from the pictures she is very fluffy with bunny soft fur, beautiful green eyes. She is a gorgeous cat with so much love to give. A FREE VISIT with her current vet will be included!

Jenny R was her foster parent.
